Bible Extra is delivered by Richard Bentley, our Senior Pastor. A typical Bible Extra evening consists of two 40-minute seminars with a break for coffee and cake in between and a hymn at the end. Richard’s goal is to help Christians think more deeply about the Bible, and we typically draw about 50 people every time from a variety of different churches across Hull and East Yorkshire.

Bible Extra was actually started over 20 years ago by Rev Paul Davies, drawing Christians together for some deeper Bible teaching on Monday evenings in May and October. The speaker, the day and the venue may all have changed, but the goal remains the same – to supplement what can be offered on an average Sunday morning for those Christians who want to dig a little deeper.
