COMMUNITY ACTIONBodmin Road Church has a long history of community engagement. From 1986 till 1997 we ran a weekly Lunch Club for the over 50s. We have also run a Mums & Toddlers Group every week since 1995, and regular after-school kids clubs and evening youth clubs for the last 13 years. For a period of time we also operated a Computer Centre in our building using funding from UK Online. We have at times employed up to eight full time staff to deliver community programmes of one sort or another, of which those mentioned above are just a sample.All our activities and programmes are open to all, regardless of a person’s faith or culture. We are here to serve the whole community. Between 150 and 200 people each week are currently accessing activities in our building, about 40 of whom are the Sunday congregation.For specific information on our current Community Programme please use the tabs on the left.
