Financial structure

Our accounts are formally audited each year by an external accountant and submitted to the Charity Commission and to Companies House.

Copies of accounts for any particular year are available on request.

Our Community Programme accounts are run separately from the regular church account. All funding from external bodies is properly ring-fenced to our Community Programme.

Each individual Community Programme project element contributes its share towards overheads such as utilities and insurance. All overheads contributions are explicitly agreed with funding bodies within the initial application. Church itself regularly subsidises overheads costs from its own resources where necessary.

As an independent church we are financially self-sufficient. Our minister is supported by the congregation, and by income from church property and from lettings.

We aim for simplicity and transparency in all our accounting and will gladly answer any questions which may arise.
